Genesis hydrogen generators (“reformers”) are designed to produce ultra high purity hydrogen from alcohol-water blend fuels. These reformers are easily integrated into any fuel cell power system, are instantly responsive to load changes and have been tested to 13,000 hours with no degradation in performance.


  

Genesis Fueltech Inc. has introduced to the market its latest generation of Model 20L hydrogen generator. This hydrogen generator (“reformer”) produces ultra pure hydrogen on demand from a fuel mix of methanol and water. Output of hydrogen is sufficient to operate a 1.25 kilowatt fuel cell.


  

Genesis is developing hydrogen generators in a range from 250 watts to 5 kilowatts and greater. Genesis has recently introduced a new generation of its Model 20L (1,250 watts) reformer and will be introducing a new Model 80L (five kilowatts) in the near future.
